Security Guard Armed Patrol with Active Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed post at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized movement of people, vehicles, and materials within the location.
• Support incident response by coordinating with site contacts, public emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership while following post orders and use of force guidelines.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
