Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an armed patrol professional, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report access concerns, suspicious activity, or policy violations according to post orders.
• Support site emergency protocols by assisting with evacuations, restricted area control, and incident response while maintaining professional armed presence and detailed activity reports.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
