Security GSOC Dispatch
About the role
As a Security Officer Emergency Communications Desk in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Professional in a healthcare location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm panels and incoming requests, and dispatch personnel to support timely responses. You will maintain clear records, provide professional customer service, and help promote a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent calls for service to appropriate personnel, maintaining clear and professional communication through radio, telephone, and computer-based systems.
- Monitor security-related systems, alarms, cameras, access activity, and communications; document incidents, service requests, and follow-up actions according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Security-related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- Alarm panel experience (preferred).
