As a Security Officer Campus Building GSOC Dispatch in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access in accordance with post orders and location policies.
• Observe working conditions, equipment areas, and restricted spaces for policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and report findings through appropriate channels.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

$26.25 / hour

• Position Type: Part Time / Day Shift
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
