Security Dual Rate Supervisor - Full Time (Horseshoe Hammond)

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to monitor the activities of the staff and guests to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines and safety rules.
• Take necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of operations.
• Exercise good judgment to ensure the safety and security of the guests, staff and assets within the limits of standard or accepted policies and procedures.
• Staff various posts as assigned.
• Perform the functions of a Security Officer, including jackpots, escorts, table fills, and boarding.
• Maintain presence and take action to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff and organizational assets.
• Remove and detain in a security area unruly and disruptive individuals or persons engaged in criminal activity.
• Cook with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.
• Conduct investigations of incidents as required.
• Schedule daily post assignments.
• Accompany all movement of money to and from the gaming tables, cage or vault.
• Schedule departmental staff for coverage.
• Work with the marine department to conduct emergency and training drills onboard the vessel.
• Schedule departmental staff for coverage.
• Properly Monitor/Staff the EVOLVE weapon detection system at guest and employee entrances in a Dual Rate and Ambassador role as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proficient in English verbal and written.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Equivalent to a high school diploma, with knowledge of security procedures.
• One to two years of specialized training in security is preferred.
• Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Access to the vessel required.
