Security Dispatcher - Security (Evenings)

About the Role

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for the effective and efficient handling of requests for security assistance for all Tanner facilities and for the accurate, concise documentation of security responses. Work is performed in a fast‑paced environment where multitasking, prioritizing, professionalism, confidentiality, speed, and accuracy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process emergency and security calls for all Tanner facilities.
• Document security responses accurately and concisely.
• Prioritize work tasks and manage multiple interruptions efficiently.
• Maintain a collaborative, team‑oriented relationship with peers and colleagues.
• Communicate ideas, share information, and provide/receive constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development and application of process improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months of medical/public safety dispatch experience or one year of high call‑volume experience.
• Successful completion of an annual background check.

Schedule

• Shift work that includes weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
• Shifts are subject to change with or without notice.
