About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver and Dispatch in Elizabethtown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, campus information, and the reporting of suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
