Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor base radio console with nine frequencies.
- Dispatch all routine and emergency traffic for assigned channels, including police/security and all first aid and fire department calls.
- Monitor weather radar and lightning detector and advise appropriate units of weather conditions as directed by management.
- Complete detailed reports before the end of scheduled shift on incidents occurring on the property.
- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Age 18 or older.
- Likeness to helping others and supporting the needs of guests and associates.
- Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Passion and excitement about Great America.
- Availability to work some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
- Prior park experience, communications, security or law enforcement experience preferred.
