Salary range: $20.14–$27.25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency responses by triaging incoming calls and alarms to ensure security teams are dispatched rapidly to where they are needed most.
• Protect the hospital environment through active surveillance of campus facilities, identifying and mitigating potential risks before they escalate.
• Drive team communication by serving as the central link between staff and leadership, ensuring critical information flows seamlessly during high-pressure situations.
• Maintain precise digital records of all security events and surveillance footage to support incident resolution and ensure a high standard of hospital safety.

Requirements

• Security Guard licensure/certification obtained within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Security guard certification through the Maryland State Police Licensing Division.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
