Security Dispatcher

About the Role

As a Security Officer Incident Communications in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. As a Dispatch Professional in a healthcare location, you will monitor communications and systems, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support personnel across the site. You will provide responsive customer service, maintain clear documentation, and help create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a healthcare-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document relevant information, and coordinate the appropriate response to routine and urgent situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.85 / Hour

• Friday: 02:00 PM - 12:45 AM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 12:45 AM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 12:45 AM
