About the role

The Client Portfolio Manager leads a business segment in a designated region, enhancing client experiences, building long-term relationships, and engaging with employees delivering services in the field. This role focuses on meeting or exceeding operational goals through high-quality, professional service while ensuring outstanding client and employee experiences. A comprehensive, week-long management onboarding course provides best practices, tools, and guidance to support success.

Responsibilities

  • Set the direction, tone, and client-specific plan for achieving agreed-upon service levels and meeting actionable expectations for delivering measurable results.
  • Focus on hiring, development, and retention of appropriate security officers and Operations Managers and Field Supervisors overseeing remote managed business.
  • Communicate high service level expectations consistently to the team to ensure client and employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Engage regularly with clients to share expertise and enhance the value of Allied Universal's offering.
  • Assist in coordinating the day-to-day team effort of Operations Managers and other assigned personnel to ensure services are delivered in a quality and cost-effective manner.
  • Work with assigned personnel to ensure all contractually scheduled hours are met with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
  • Coach, counsel, and develop assigned personnel to assist with their opportunity for advancement and promotability.
  • Capably utilize WinTeam for scheduling, billing, and producing reports (e.g., Scheduling Activity, Invoice Aging by Tiers, Training Summary, and Training Detail) requiring interpretation and action for effective business management.
  • Enforce Allied policies as outlined by handbooks and executive memos.
  • Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze, and solve problems while creating opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Act as liaison between Allied Universal and the customer to foster customer intimacy, including travel to/from in-person meetings.
  • Keep records and prepare accurate and timely reports both manually and through automated methods.
  • Maintain regular attendance to avoid unpredictable, frequent, or ongoing late arrivals and chronic tardiness.
  • Actively participate in community and business-related organizations.

Requirements

Must possess one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business, or a related field.
  • Associate’s degree in criminal justice, business, or a related field with three (3) years of management experience in a high-volume workforce environment or service industry.
  • High School diploma with five (5) years of management experience in a high-volume workforce environment or service industry.
  • Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in successfully building and developing teams.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving operational and/or financial metrics while demonstrating strong financial acumen.
  • Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations, and achieving desired results.
  • Results-oriented problem-solving skills that meet client and employee needs while running a profitable business.
  • Proven strong service orientation, excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees, and client requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate timely changes or recommendations impacting service image or brand.
  • Dynamic networking skills displaying a commitment to safety and trust by participating in local community, client, and industry events.
  • Must have current or prior healthcare experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services experience.
  • Experience managing a dispersed workforce in a multi-location operation.

Pay

$112,641.60 - $132,641.60 / year
