About the role

The Security Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at the Great Wolf Lodge. They are responsible for maintaining security and responding promptly to any incidents that occur.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and safety of the hotel, guests, Pack Members, and their property
• Provide constant vigilance in and around the hotel premises
• Fills in for security-related job assignments
• Runs routine inspections of the hotel premises
• Acts promptly in the event of a circumstance requiring attention
• Aids management in dealing with incidents within the hotel and documents events
• Projects a professional and trustworthy image
• Remains composed and behaves professionally during emotionally charged or stressful situations
• Provides guest service in every interaction with guests at the resort
• Manages risk and uses contingency plans to face uncertainty and adapt to change
• Sorts through conflicting perspectives without letting personal biases influence decisions

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Experience managing extensive closed circuit television arrays and operating/accessing systems like CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Skills

• Law enforcement background
• First responder training
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
