Security Attendant
About the role
The Security Attendant at Great Wolf Lodge plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests, employees, and visitors. They are responsible for maintaining security and safety within the hotel premises, responding promptly to emergencies, and assisting management in handling incidents.
Responsibilities
- Maintain security and safety of the hotel, guests, Pack Members, and their property
- Provide constant vigilance in and around the hotel premises
- Fills in security-related job assignments
- Runs routine inspections of the hotel premises
- Acts promptly in the event of a circumstance requiring attention
- Aids Management in dealing with incidents within the hotel and documents events
- Projects a professional and trustworthy image
- Behaves professionally during emotionally charged or stressful situations
- Provides guest service in every interaction
- Manages risk and uses contingency plans to face uncertainty and adapt to change
- Sorts through conflicting perspectives without taking sides
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Experience managing extensive closed circuit television arrays and operating/accessing systems
- Comfortable operating and monitoring CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm systems
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
Qualifications
- Law enforcement background preferred
- First responder training preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

Pay
The starting pay rate is $19 per hour, with pay positions within the salary range determined by relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
