Security Airport Officer- Part Time- Patrol Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report access concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
• Support transportation hub operations by giving directions, assisting with crowd management, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public agencies during routine and emergency situations.

Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

DayTime: Mon 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, Tue 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, Sat 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
