Secretary/Technician, Per Diem, Days 7a-7p, Deskovick 2, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and patient call bells
• Organize medical records and greet visitors and physicians
• Maintain unit supplies of forms and office materials
• Assist physicians and staff with electronic order entry
• Support nursing personnel in direct patient care activities, including:
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living
  • Measuring and recording vital signs
  • Helping ensure a safe patient care environment

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• BLS certification preferred
• CNA certification preferred
• Prior Unit Associate or Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred
