About the role

Responsible for teaching mathematics to high school students. Develops lesson plans and assessments aligned with state standards. Supports students' social-emotional learning and provides differentiated instruction as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards
• Administer and grade assessments to evaluate student progress
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Support students' social-emotional learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary units
• Attend professional development workshops and conferences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Teaching certification in Mathematics
• At least 2 years of teaching experience
• Experience with differentiated instruction and social-emotional learning

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Passion for teaching and supporting student growth

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with educational technology tools
• Knowledge of Common Core State Standards
