Seasonal Worker - 2026
About the role
Seneca Foods is seeking seasonal workers for its 2026 season. Peas - mid-June through late July Corn - late July through mid-October This timeframe is tentative and can be affected by the weather and crop availability.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill various production line positions in our food production facility processing fresh vegetables.
- Perform sanitation functions on a regular basis to prepare the plant for the next scheduled production run.
- Provide relief during other employees' break periods.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies/procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic.
- Regular attendance.
Harvest Operators
- Farm equipment operation experience is preferred but not required, ability to work 12+ hour shifts.
- Shifts can be affected by weather and crop availability.
Starting Wage Range
Based on skills, abilities and experience from $14.39 to $15.45 per hour.
