Seasonal Production Worker - Summer 2026

About the role

Seneca Foods is one of North America's leading providers of packaged fruits and vegetables with facilities throughout the United States, sourcing from over 1,400 American farms and distributing to over 90 countries under brands such as Libby’s®, Aunt Nellie’s®, READ®, Seneca Farms®, Green Valley®, Green Giant (Shelf-Stable)®, CherryMan®, Paradise®, Pennant®, and Seneca labels, including Seneca snack chips. The company also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co‑pack arrangements.

For the 2026 production season in Blue Earth, MN, Seneca Foods is hiring seasonal production workers. The pea run runs mid‑June through late July and the corn run runs late July through early‑October; these dates are tentative and may shift with weather and crop availability.

Positions available include Line Workers, Machine Operators, Forklift Operators, Sanitation Workers, Maintenance positions, and other roles.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill various production line positions in the food production facility processing fresh vegetables.
• Perform sanitation functions on a regular basis to prepare the plant for the next scheduled production run.
• Provide relief during other employees’ break periods.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies/procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

Starting wage range based on skills and experience: $14.88 to $15.99 per hour.

Schedule

The plant operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with 12‑hour shifts. Shift start/end times and the number of days worked per week may vary depending on weather and crop availability. Paid overtime is provided for hours over 40 per week, and on‑the‑job training is offered.
