About the Role
The Service Shop Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day operations and supporting the Service Shop team in maintaining a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves guiding the work of Service Shop & Rental Associates, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and assisting with customer inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to Service Shop & Rental Associates, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the daily workflow of the service shop, assigning tasks to associates and ensuring the timely completion of tunes, mounts, and rental preparations.
- Assist in addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of rental equipment, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
- Provide training to new and existing Service Shop & Rental Associates, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities.
- Work closely with the Service Shop Supervisor to coordinate activities with technicians, mechanics, and other team members for efficient service delivery.
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels for rental equipment and service shop supplies.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of service and rental processes.
- Provide hands-on support to associates in performing tunes, mounts, and other service tasks as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team, ensuring everyone is informed about daily tasks and any changes in procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in retail management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a leadership or lead role within a service shop or rental environment.
- Proficiency in using standard office and communication tools.
- Leadership, adaptability, attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, customer service, inventory management, multitasking, problem-solving, product knowledge, teamwork, and time management.

Pay
$21.27 - $25.26 per hour.
Schedule
Duration: mid-October through mid-February, with the possibility to extend. Requires weekend and holiday availability, including Black Friday and the weeks around Christmas. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
