About the role

The Nest at Thompson Seattle is seeking a Seasonal Server to join our dynamic food and beverage team. Located atop the Thompson Seattle hotel, The Nest offers breathtaking views of Elliot Bay and the Olympic Mountains. This rooftop bar provides an exceptional dining and drinking experience with seasonal ingredients and unique events.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality
• Handle cash transactions and manage bar inventory
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Participate in special events and promotions

Requirements

• Must be able to work flexible hours during the summer season
• Physical stamina to lift moderate weights
• Mast certification required
• Previous experience as a bartender preferred

Pay

The hourly rate for this position starts at $18.00. A taxable 20% service charge is added to each check, with 17% distributed to service personnel and 3% retained by the hotel as an administrative fee. Additional gratuity is up to the guest's discretion.

Schedule

The seasonal employment period for positions at Thompson Seattle is anticipated to commence in mid-May and conclude at the end of September. Exact dates may vary depending on business needs. All qualified candidates must maintain open availability for the entire season.
