Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Step-Down Unit (2RS) Full Time Nights $65 Week/$67 weekends including shift diffs

Manatee Memorial Hospital offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs and has the only Pediatric Center hospital-based outpatient multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center in Manatee County.
About the role
The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care. Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administers IV’s and medications to aid in patient health, and uses medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
This opportunity is for a seasonal nights position on the Medical Step-Down Unit (2RS) with a 6-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Promote and provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.

Requirements
- Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Florida.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
