About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a 13-week assignment in Newburgh, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in managing patients requiring step-down care
- Monitor and adjust patient medications as needed
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide education to patients and families about their medical conditions and treatments
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in step-down care preferred
