Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Unit (2NT) Full Time Nights $65 Week/$67 weekends including shift diffs

Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services — including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System, a weight-loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women’s and children’s services. Manatee Memorial Hospital offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs and has the only Pediatric Center hospital-based outpatient multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center in Manatee County.

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care.
• Communicate with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs.
• Administer IVs and medications to aid in patient health.
• Use medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

Requirements

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
