About the role
This is a temporary in-office position for the busy season, lasting until October 2026. Candidates must be able to work onsite at our Bala Cynwyd, PA office Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assemble printed returns
- Prepare & send out organizers
- Scan, upload, maintain storage & return of client docs
- Prepare mail, FedEx & courier packages
- Handle IRS certified mail and maintain log
- Greet clients & visitors and monitor front desk
- Answer phones
- Sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for client records & office docs
- Assist with scanning of client & firm docs
- Handle engagement letters, paper extensions, and paper returns
- Order busy season meals, set up, and clean up
- Input client data, organize and archive client files, assist in prepping tax-related forms and docs
- Monitor email inbox for copy, binding, and mailing requests
- Retrieve mail/packages & deliver to receptionist
- Check mail stops & process outgoing mail
- Process FedEx packages
- Take certified mail to post office
- Take mail & FedEx to mailroom
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
