Seasonal Medical Assistant- Nights
About the Role
This is a temporary, seasonal position in the Post Surgical Unit, anticipated to start in late September and continue through the end of 2026. Night shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Performs clerical duties including distribution of messages.
- Performs clinical duties, under the direction of an RN, including assisting patients to the restroom, removing IV catheters, etc.
- Cleans rooms if needed.
- Assists RNs as instructed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Previous experience with Electronic Healthcare Records is helpful.
