Responsibilities

• Supporting people with their personal care
• Assisting people at meal times
• Understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
• Encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities
• Promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
• Completing and maintaining care records

We value relevant experience and qualifications, but they aren't essential for this role. You should be caring, kind, understanding, and calmable to deal with challenging situations. You should also be energetic and outgoing, with a positive, can-do attitude, and a great listener and communicator.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are required for this role, but an Exemplar Care Certificate is recommended.
