Seasonal Line Cook
Line Cook Job Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
- Ensure all dishes are delivered together, promptly, and with consistent high quality.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety standards.
- Clean and assist with dishwashing, as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk for extended periods of time.
Position Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or over with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handler’s Permit required.
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, culinary school, or catering preferred.
- Basic prep, knife, and baking skills.
- Ability to work well with limited supervision.
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
Compensation
Your Compensation $19.45 - $25.27 per hour based upon relevant experience. At Ste. Michelle Wine Estates we believe in paying our employees equal pay for equal work. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate’s prior experience and education level as it pertains to the role.
