The CCTS at UTHealth Houston is seeking a communications intern to help with content creation, administrative tasks, and brand compliance in support of both internal and external communications programs. Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and editing content for internal newsletters, staff communications, and leadership messages
• Support internal communications, including content development and messaging
• Support external communications efforts, including marketing deliverables (print and digital)
• Help coordinate events and promotional campaigns
• Conduct research and compile insights to support communications strategies
• Assist with light project management duties, ensuring timely completion of content and deliverables with proper branding
• Other assignments as needed

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
• Collaborative and detail‑oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Willingness to learn
• 0‑2 years of experience
• Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas
