Seasonal Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled laboratory professional responsible for performing and reporting clearly defined laboratory procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Receiving, identifying, organizing, and prioritizing specimens for accurate and timely testing.Executing laboratory procedures and reporting results.Conducting quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance, and inventory management.Verifying positive patient identification to minimize errors and adverse outcomes.Supporting ongoing learning and completing assigned goals. Qualifications and Skills: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent military medical laboratory training.Minimum computer literacy.National certification compliant with federal/state regulations, obtained within six months of hire.Preferred clinical laboratory experience. Additional Information: Role may include overtime and call back as needed, with responsibilities extending across assigned shifts.
