Responsibilities
- Performing and reporting various specimen analyses accurately and efficiently
- Managing specimens, confirming identification, and following proper accessioning procedures
- Recognizing discrepancies, troubleshooting, and maintaining laboratory instruments
- Replenishing supplies and adhering to reporting protocols
- Utilizing multiple computer applications and assisting in training new staff
- Participating in ongoing education and maintaining competency through exams
Qualifications
- Associate degree in medical laboratory science and certification or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Military experience in related medical laboratory roles is welcomed
Key Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures, specimen handling, and instrument maintenance
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple processes
