Seasonal Medical Laboratory Technician

This role involves utilizing laboratory skills to perform and report clearly defined procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: receiving, identifying, organizing, and prioritizing specimens for accurate processing; executing laboratory tests and reporting results; performing quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance, and inventory management; and verifying patient identification to minimize errors. Qualifications and skills: an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent military training; basic computer literacy; and national certification compliant with federal and/or state regulations, with full certification achieved within six months. Preferred experience: clinical laboratory experience. The role may require working assigned shifts, overtime, and callbacks, with additional duties as assigned.
