Seasonal Haul Truck Driver

Seasonal role based in Suisun City, CA with the Madera Disposal team. Project duration is 2–3 months, resuming Spring 2027.

• Monday–Friday
• 9–10 hours per day
• Start time: 6:45 am

Pay

Starting pay: $40–$45 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul truck, water truck, and other site equipment as needed
• Transport and unload soil and other materials for landfill cell construction
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment

Working conditions

• Outdoor work in varying weather, including extreme heat, cold, and occasional rain
• Environment may be dusty, noisy, and require personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, gloves, and safety boots
• Exposure to machinery and heavy equipment; strict adherence to safety protocols and precautions

Requirements

• 2+ years of truck operating experience
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Ability to work effectively in various outdoor conditions and dynamic environments
