Starting hourly rate: $16.25 USD per hour.
Schedule
Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Regular attendance is required.
About the role
Target is hiring seasonal specialists to support guest experience and sales across multiple departments. Roles include Seasonal Guest Advocate, Seasonal General Merchandise Expert, Seasonal Fulfillment Expert, Seasonal Style Consultant, Seasonal Inbound Expert, Seasonal Food & Beverage Expert, and Seasonal Tech Consultant. These positions focus on active selling, visual merchandising, guest interaction, product availability, and efficient store operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising.
- Engage guests, thank them, and exceed service expectations, including recovery when needed.
- Ensure merchandise is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and properly signed on the sales floor.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb ladders, scan items, and move merchandise safely, frequently lifting or moving items up to 40 lb.
- Support daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
Requirements
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and a guest‑first culture.
- Experience with retail business fundamentals such as department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency.
- Ability to execute daily and weekly tasks that support business priorities and sales targets.
Skills
