About the role

Seasonal specialty sales roles at Target involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising, delivering guest service, and ensuring product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. Roles include Seasonal Guest Advocate, Seasonal General Merchandise Expert, Seasonal Fulfillment Expert, Seasonal Style Consultant, Seasonal Inbound Expert, Seasonal Food & Beverage Expert, and Seasonal Tech Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest‑first service, welcoming and assisting guests throughout the store.
• Execute active selling and visual merchandising presentations to inspire guests and increase basket size.
• Maintain product placement, stock levels, pricing accuracy, and signage on the sales floor.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds and climbing ladders as needed.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with the team to meet sales goals and business priorities.
