About the role

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking an enthusiastic Seasonal Front of House Retail Team Member who shares our passion for food quality, customer service, and community. In this role you will work with a dynamic team offering a unique menu of scratch‑baked breads & pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest, whole ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a “can do” attitude – actively listen to guests and confidently suggest meal and gift items to first‑time visitors and regulars.
• Work quickly, learn from mistakes, and proactively look for opportunities to assist other departments before being asked.
• Be available to work Saturdays when needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service or retail experience (preferred but not required).
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal food‑handler and sanitation standards.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to help across departments.

Schedule

• Part‑time position averaging approximately 15 hours per week.
• Required to work Saturdays when needed.
