About the role

Thompson Palm Springs is seeking an engaging and hospitality-driven Full Time, Seasonal Lola Rose Barback to join the Lola Rose Grand Mezze team. As a Barback, you will support the bar team by ensuring bartenders have the tools, products, and resources needed to deliver exceptional service. You will develop extensive knowledge of our beverage offerings while maintaining an organized, clean, and fully stocked bar environment.

This role plays a critical part in the guest experience by anticipating the needs of the bar team, replenishing supplies, preparing garnishes, stocking liquor, beer, wine, glassware, and assisting with bar setup and breakdown. You will ensure operational standards are upheld throughout breakfast, lunch, and all bar service periods while contributing to a seamless and memorable guest experience.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role with a budgeted rate of $16.90 plus additional gratuity. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked bar environment
• Anticipate the needs of the bar team and replenish supplies
• Prepare garnishes and stock liquor, beer, wine, and glassware
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Remove used glassware and restock inventory
• Support efficient beverage service throughout the shift
• Ensure operational standards are upheld during all service periods
• Contribute to a seamless and memorable guest experience

Requirements

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs
• Full menu, food, beverage (liquor, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages), allergen, and product knowledge
• Open availability
• Riverside County’s Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
• Must be over the age of 21

Pay

$16.90 per hour plus additional gratuity.
