About the role
Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking an engaging and hospitality-driven Seasonal Lounge Cocktail Server to join the Lola Rose Grand Mezze team. As a Lounge Cocktail Server, you are responsible for submitting and presenting guest beverage selections, gaining menu knowledge, and giving recommendations. Servers engage in casual conversation and must maintain an attractive setting. Their style and service attributes are key to creating the guest experience. This is a fast-paced, nonexempt (hourly) position with constant customer interaction.
The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90 per hour plus additional gratuity. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Submit and present guest beverage selections
- Gain and display full menu, food, beverage (liquor, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages), allergen, and product knowledge
- Provide recommendations from the menu
- Maintain an attractive setting and engage in casual conversation with guests
- Perform in a fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction
Requirements
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs
- Open availability
- Riverside County’s Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
- Must be over the age of 21
