SEO Manager Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of hands-on SEO experience (or equivalent demonstrated expertise)
• Strong technical SEO, content optimization, and link building experience
• Experience developing and implementing strategic SEO plans and driving measurable results
• Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Link Explorer
• Able to lead client strategy, reporting, and insights conversations

SEO Manager Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day lead for assigned client SEO efforts
• Develop and implement strategic SEO plans across technical SEO, content optimization, and link building
• Led monthly reporting, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Identify emerging search trends (including AI-driven visibility) and implement new tactics to improve performance
• Mentor and provide feedback to junior team members supporting assigned accounts
