Seamer

General Description

The Seamer reports to the Plant Superintendent and is expected to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities include local and occasional out-of-state travel to work with customers.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks

• Perform fine silver soldering
• Apply brazing techniques to assemble stainless steel screens
• Soft soldering
• Operate various hand and power tools
• Measure and cut screens accurately
• Safety-operate cranes and forklifts
• Communicate and coordinate with contractors, customers, process engineers, and/or maintenance supervisors
• Assist in other departments as needed

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Experience and education can be substituted for qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
