Laborer

About the role

We are seeking construction laborers with lagging, underpinning, grout mixing and other support of excavation experience. Tasks will involve physical labor at construction sites to assist with these operations.

Responsibilities

• Hand digging and backfilling for installation of lagging or underpinning
• Mixing grout
• Tieback fabrication
• Drilling assistance
• Digging trenches
• Cleaning up debris
• Other duties as necessary, which may require the use of power and air tools

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent confirmed deep foundation and SOE experience
• Must pass a drug screening
• Ability to work in all outdoor elements (heat, rain, snow, etc.)
• Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work on uneven or muddy ground
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Must be reliable

Skills

• Safety Conscious
• Experience with picks, shovels, power tools, and air tools for excavation
• Ability to take direction and work together with others
• Good hand-eye coordination
