Responsibilities
- Design and enhance test automation frameworks
- Build and improve automation frameworks and implement scalable automated test suites and scripts
- Drive quality improvements by recommending and implementing enhancements across automation design, development, and execution processes
- Lead and mentor QA analysts, developers, and testers on automation and performance testing strategies
- Execute and analyze testing by developing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts while tracking and communicating execution results
- Evaluate tools and frameworks by participating in tool selection, creating proof of concepts (POCs), and recommending automation solutions
- Collaborate across teams by working cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality software
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing automation frameworks with strong programming and scripting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong coding experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (open-source or commercial)
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and test management practices
- Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools
- Understanding of cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and system architecture concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
