Scrum Master

About the role

We are looking for a collaborative and organized Scrum Master to support a remote Agile team. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, help remove blockers, support effective sprint delivery, and work with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to improve team collaboration and delivery.

This remote opportunity may be available to applicants in the United States and eligible worldwide locations.

Responsibilities

• Scrum Facilitation
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups
  • Coordinate sprint planning
  • Facilitate sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Support backlog refinement activities
  • Help ensure Scrum events remain focused and productive
• Agile Delivery
  • Support teams throughout each sprint
  • Track dependencies, blockers, and delivery risks
  • Help remove obstacles affecting team progress
  • Support predictable and sustainable delivery
  • Monitor relevant Agile delivery metrics
• Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams
  • Encourage clear communication across distributed teams
  • Help resolve process and collaboration challenges
  • Support healthy team working practices
  • Promote accountability without micromanaging team members
• Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve team processes
  • Turn retrospective feedback into actionable improvements
  • Help teams adopt effective Agile practices
  • Support transparency around progress and risks
  • Encourage continuous learning and improvement

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of experience in Scrum, Agile delivery, project management, project coordination, or a related role
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
• Experience facilitating team meetings and Agile ceremonies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is preferred
• PSM, CSM, or another relevant Scrum certification is an advantage
• Experience supporting software-development teams is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams in a remote environment
