Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
• Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure well-defined and prioritized product backlogs.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team productivity and delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and team collaboration.
• Monitor sprint progress, velocity, and Agile metrics, providing visibility to stakeholders.
• Support release planning and coordinate dependencies across teams.
• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and organizational governance standards.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, product management, and development teams.
• Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution.
• Promote self-organizing and high-performing teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of overall experience with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, Kanban, and Lean principles.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms.
• Ability to analyze Agile metrics and drive process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale Agile environments.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD practices, and cloud-based projects is preferred.
• Experience coordinating with global teams and multiple stakeholders.
