Scrum Master

Job Summary

Maximus is seeking a Scrum Master to support a federal client in the defense of our Homeland. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile practices and foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required
• 7+ years of experience supporting IT programs in an Agile environment, including serving as a Scrum Master and facilitating Agile delivery teams
• US Citizen residency required
• Willingness to meet recall requirements and participate in a rotational on-call schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Facilitate collaboration and communication between development, operations, and business teams
• Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress
• Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile best practices
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders
• Monitor Progress: Track and report on team performance metrics
• Promote Agile Principles: Advocate for Agile values and principles within the organization
• Encourage and facilitate process improvements

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Agile certifications such as: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA)

Pay

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually
