About the role
The Role Coach is responsible for developing and supporting a development team in adopting Agile best practices. This includes ensuring project success through focused sprint goals, resolving routine problems using Scrum principles, and facilitating key Agile ceremonies.
Responsibilities
- Apply Scrum principles to address routine issues and enhance sustainable process improvements.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Collect and document detailed user stories, break down associated tasks, and establish acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and propose improvements to business processes, working closely with the project team.
- Maintain a product backlog and assist with quality assurance and requirement validation.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for an engineering team.
- Proven experience with Jira, including its integration and management for multiple teams.
- Experience leading client delivery engagements and interacting with senior-level clients.
- Ability to teach basic Agile framework concepts to technical teams.
- A Secret security clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree.
