Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit staging for all quote requests.
• Analyze customer requirements and product specifications to develop accurate, cost-effective staging quotes, factoring in product structure, component complexity and estimated assembly times.
• Create and release Engineering Changes (ECs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs) tailored to specific staging configurations and returned equipment.
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with production requirements.
• Develop the staging process and create customized customer routing documents, including product specifications, sequential routing steps, work center assignments, detailed assembly and staging instructions, logic testing procedures, inspection criteria, and packaging design.
• Validate the Line Build In (LBI) process prior to the start of manufacturing to ensure the production line is properly staged and operational.
• Oversee pilot runs to confirm the accuracy of routing documentation. Ensure quality assurance protocols are met and hold responsibility for approving First Article Inspection (FAI) results.
• Design and define packaging solutions, including detailed drawings, packaging matrices, pallet configurations, and specification documentation. Responsible for testing and approving packaging to ensure it meets functional, quality, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Understand BOMs, part numbering systems, and product compliance standards.
• Ability to interpret and validate customer-supplied documentation (e.g., image load, test plans).
• Knowledge of packaging customization and logistics.
• Ability to develop cost-efficient quotes based on technical and operational requirements.
• Process Design and optimization to define routing processes and approve line build in (LBI).
• Clear and professional communication of technical requirements and solutions.
• Attention to detail to review documentation and creating customer changes.

Skills
