About the role
This role involves maintaining and optimizing Oracle databases and applications, ensuring their smooth operation and performance. The consultant will provide level 3 support, troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and offer technical support to end-users. They will manage collaboration between client associates, Oracle, and managed services teams, handling provisioning, installation, upgrades, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle applications. Additionally, they will support the IT Operations Manager in documenting, updating, and publishing key Oracle processes.
Responsibilities
- Understand issues, document resolutions, and perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor and maintain Oracle applications to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement database changes and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
Requirements
- Functional knowledge of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
- At least 8 years of experience with Fusion or EBS Inventory.
- Troubleshooting skills in integrations from legacy and peripheral systems.
- Understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) processes.
- Ability to work on production incidents using Service Now and JIRA (Atlassian tool).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience architecting, leading, and delivering robust large-scale Oracle ERP solutions, including digital transformations, integrations, and scalable data solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Certification.
- Experience with Oracle OTM cloud applications.
Pay
$72 - 82 per hour
