Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible janitorial or related custodial work experience.
- At least three (3) months of progressively responsible work experience in the cleaning and maintenance of a large swimming pool.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must have:
- Demonstrated evidence of supervisory aptitude.
- General experience in janitorial or related custodial work, demonstrating knowledge of and the proper application of on-the-job safety techniques and methods; the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment and supplies used in custodial and grounds maintenance work; and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Specialized experience in the cleaning and maintenance of a large swimming pool, demonstrating knowledge of principles of operating small water pumping systems and equipment; methods and practices of filtering, sanitizing and purifying swimming pools; and minor repair and maintenance of small water pumps.
