Job Description
AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Palatine, Illinois.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- IL OT license
- Previous experience working with children in a school based or home setting
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
- Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
