Job Description
AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Park Ridge, Illinois.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy and a current state license (or be eligible for same)
- Being bilingual preferred, but monolingual accepted as well
Qualifications
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Knowledge of assessing students' needs and abilities
- Ability to implement individualized therapy plans
- Experience working with teachers, administrators, and other specialists
- Experience in developing IEPs

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assessment of students' needs and abilities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized therapy plans to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and coordination
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs
- Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications
